Thai s have flipped out and attacked a westerner in front of me , then police came and arrested him.

He pointed out the king was born in America and Buddha in Nepal ......he also said prior to his beating the King wasn't the longest serving Monarch but the 24th .

All that information that got him into trouble is true.

There is a reason Thais are smug and believe they can fool the world and know everything and we are dumb buffalo ..........it starts early.....it's what they believe in....even if it is not a truth.

That particular one where people go to jail is insidious.

It's one thing to believe in children's inequalities where by magic one human is bestowed with better worth.

In this day and age it's actually reasonable to question that ethically and/ or morally and religiously.

But to jail people for pointing out the known facts is a crime.

I wouldn't be amazed if this naive, spoiled little pottymouth gets extradited to Thailand and made an example of by receiving the maximum sentence without possibilty for pardon... She certainly would deserve it, because the vulgar images and words she used were far over the top and had absolutely nothing to do with freedom of speech, but were meant to have a maximum insulting effect. Even the sluttiest Soi Cowboy Mama San would not use such phrases in day to day life. What a stupid low-life scum brat... I feel sorry for her parents.

Its not about if what she is saying is rude, stupid or whatever. The point is she has the right to be rude and stupid and write what she wants. What kind of sick society do you want? If somebody posts something vulgar on facebook they should be punished like a mass murderer or a serial rapist?

The exact same point applies to the paintings and cartoons of Muhammed. Its not a question of whether its good or bad to draw Muhammed, its a question of the undying right to do so if you feel like it, in a civilized world that is.
