Obviously, no shortage of generals in the RTP. They've got plenty to go around.

Generally speaking, that's true. But then again, Thailand has almost as many generals as G.M. has motors. It seems to be a major problem.

No, no, it's a general problem, not a major problem.

They all deserve CORPORAL punishment.......still RANKS as a problem I'll be BARRACKED for this.

Sometimes I wonder if PTP (and predecessors) is just the Police Party so that BiBs with greater ambitions can move into politics or if it's a political party that decided to ally itself with the police to cement their grip in power.

The party is just stuffed with ex-policemen, Thaksin at the top, Chalerm on a leash, the candidate for governor of Bangkok was a policeman, Kamronwit mulling to enter politics after he retires, Thaksin's ex-brother-in-law, the Police Chief, also primed to move into politics, there was at least one Senator on the PTP side coming from the police, etc, etc...

The police should know where there is the most money to be made out of graft and corruption - so politics is just a natural progression up the food chain
