But Keto can arguably seen as a way to "cheat" health, because lowering carbs without exercise keeps you slim. I have seen some videos that got me off keto. I won't tell you to stop keto, but I did. Here, he mentions a study that claims the pancreas atrophies and you lose glucose receptors etc .... when avoiding carbs too long. If you really are having difficulty keeping the weight down, the best solution I've heard of is cycling in and out of keto. Ie doing keto for 2-3 months and then reintroducing carbs for 1-2 months. This way, it doesn't cause the potential health issues of long-term keto. That is, if you accept the science that is presented here based on a study by Dr. Siedelmann. But you do have a lot of reputable doctors claiming long-term keto is safe, so continue with it if you have no health issues. -

That’s a textbook strawman — confusing models of reality with reality itself. Reality, depending on your philosophy, may not be logical. Logic is a construct of the human intellect, projected onto reality so we can measure and understand it — not control it. And if, in your IT career, you ever dabbled in data structures — stacks, queues, linked lists — you’ll know those constructs aren’t reality either. They’re models. But they work. And that’s the point. If all is chaos, then logic is chaos too — which means your very statement has no order, no meaning, and no claim to truth. Calling logic a “delusion” still relies on… logic. It’s like standing on a ladder to declare ladders don’t exist. -

Can you, yourself, learn Thai after Dementia Diagnosis?
Me and the Mrs were getting the Thai learning thing on very well after 10 years. Then she got Alzheimer's and stopped teaching me , and said F Off. At least the English I taught her had been remembered. Now I am starting visiting MR A, and neither of us could give a 4..k. -

I usually transfer funds monthly from overseas, then transfer to my wife's KK on an app. I could of course drive to bank with her and use a passbook, is this the only solution?
