Dentist in Bangkok or Hua Hin

Featured Replies

Dear TV members,

Any recommendations for a good dentist in either location?

Went to see a dentist in Cambodia today and he seems very eager to pull a tooth that 6 months ago was fine.

As I am s...-scared of dentists, I would like a second opinion from a reputable clinic.

Thank you,

Hanno

Many excellent dentists in Bkk. Perosnally I like the Dental Hospital on Sukhumvit Soi 49.

But there are also excellent ones in Phnom Penh. Try Roomchang. http://roomchang.com/roomchang-dentists/

Eagerness to pull the tooth usually denotes lack of expertise in tooth-sparing techniques (and possibly even of basic dentistry), an extraction being about the simplest thing to perform. You won't run into that problem at Roomchang. But depending on the condition of the tooth, you might need say a root canal which would entail several visits to complete, something to factor into your choice of location.

Thanks Sheryl. BKK is actually closer for me than PP as I live in Siem Reap and I really trust the Thai clinics more;-)

I am a loyal patient of Bangkok Smile Dental. I saw Dr. Utumporn last month because i accidentally broke my tooth on an olive pit. It ended up i needed a crown, bad news but one of the most relaxing experiences at the dentists.

Thanks all. I have an appointment at the Thanthakit clinic now. They have a clinic near where I stay and come highly recommended by friends.
