Finance Companies

Featured Replies

I want to buy a used car on finance.

Can anybody recommend a finance company offering a good deal?

theres no such thing as far as i am aware. the used car finance deals certainly arent very good at all here.

look at a newe car with zero %, or take a look around.

I bought a brand new Toyota Wish with 25% down using the Thanachart Bank representative they put me in touch with.

I found the guy most helpful and he 'massaged' a few details to suit the deal.

I must admit, I could not have done it without a Thai Guarantor though; don't think you can do it without one!

PS - I know you said used car, but I started looking at that angle and quickly realised that the deals are not that special...just a thought!

If you want finance for your car it is not necessary to have a Thai guarantor.

What you do need is a WP, Non-imm visa and 50% downpayment. There are people that have been able to put less down, but the general rule of thumb is 50% down, finance in your own name without a guarantor is no problem.

I used GE Capital to finance my new car (with no guarantor)

At 50% down anyone would lend you the money!

I think if the OP had 50% of the value of a new car in the bank he would not be asking the question.
