Any idea where I can find quality camping and outdoor activity gear in Chiang Mai -- like stuff you'd find at REI in the US. I know it's wishful thinking but I'll take what I can get. New, not used. Thanks!

I'm amazed at all the great equipment that's probably made in China that you can't get here. Sad. I should have filled up a trunk at REI before moving here. 20/20 hindsight alas!

There's a North Face shop in CenFes and a Deuter shop near Sportsworld in KSK. Depends exactly what you're looking for.

Yeah - me too....always had Coleman gas lanterns & Gas stove on tap in the US.....
