mines rather simple but not Thailand related....becoming truly proficient at playing guitar

I work 28's as well, and I don't think giving that up would make me any happier, I do enjoy the job and same as you enjoy the craic with the lads.

What would make me more happy being in Thailand, would be, to be able to see my beautiful grandchildren more often.

Twice a year is not enough, but I can't sacrifice my present happiness and content, by going back to my country.

Hope as they grow up, they will visit me also.

lara,,

ive got to agree with you,,

but we arnt going to see changes overnight,

they put some roundabouts in near our village,, wow, its a nightmare, its who dares wins,, with not doing the proper driving exam test call it what you want, they have never seen these things, so havnt got a clue what to do at one,,

so unless they bring out proper driving lessons tests ect, we havnt got a hope for better driving,,,

even though we can drive ok, its the others round us that are the proplem,,,lol

jake

and im not having a go,,,,,, well not much,,lol

I USED to enjoy it Jake....But once you retire, you will forget about it, and get on with being busier than when you actually worked...

Aint that the truth.

I would like a reciprocation of the rights and privileges Thai's get in my country when they marry.

I would like permanent residency so I can make real plans for mine and my wife's future........... here.

I can only hope. rolleyes.gif

Why should you only hope?

Readily available to you right now, in fact skip the PR and go straight for the bullseye of citizenship, whats stopping you?

Not much really, but being able to turn down the heat sometimes would be nice. Difficult to enjoy a nice walk in these temps, get stuck indoors more than I would like.

I wish my wifes grown up kids would bugger off and do something useful. Ooooooooop's one has, I bet not for long...........Apron strings.........coffee1.gif

Mate, they might check-out ... but they will never leave.

Yours to enjoy for life eternal ... facepalm.gif

Just be sure that when they find the love of the life month, they don't set up shop at your place.

it is transitory. when you have it, you want something else. but you can only know what the next want is after you have the current one. unfortunately there is no step skipping.

i find i want it until after much planning and contrivance, i can reach out a take it, but often find when it is in grasp i turn away and dont ever want that again. perhaps it better to take what comes and be happy with that.

Right enough ! Thats exactly what happened to me, had a daughter, then had son in law and now grand daughter all installed! I 'm now looking for somewhere I can go !
