Featured Replies

Well, it's watchable, but should be at a far higher bit rate for that price. It aint legal either, not that that is any concern.

what was it like when you were watching it ?

mine was perfect over a 512 TOT connection down here in phuket ...same as watching the tele

why is it illegal ?...all seems professional enough setup to me, i even rang there london offices and they seem to have many multi media departments etc

each experience to their own i suppose but all i can report is good things

£24 to watch the world cup on uk tele here in thailand is a bargain in my book ...and of course you can also see the all the other programmes for a month ... i watched jonathan ross between games last night, very funny .. a much more enjoyable experience than thai tv :o

The BBC, ITV, and Channel4 simply don't have the rights to broadcast many of their programmes internationally, especially the football. That's why the BBC are only streaming the world cup to the UK.

It might seem proffesional enough, and if it works for you fine, but I can't see it lasting long. The BBC will close their operations down in no time once they find out about it. 282kbps is way lower quality than you get from watching the tele.
