WTB: Cheap Thai wheeled bags that I see everywhere

Featured Replies

I am looking to buy 1 or 2 extra large wheeled bags. I see many Thais carrying their wares in these to/from their stores. I am not looking for a proper piece of luggage. It more looks like a huge plasticy/canvas bag with a handle and wheels on it. I need one or 2 for extra bags to check on our flights departing the country. They'll likely just get used once. If there's another cheap (but large) bag option, I'm interested in recommendations. We already have proper luggage, so I don't need to buy another set.

Where can I buy these and what is a fair price? I see shops selling large luggage bags around the Sukhumvit low number sois, but I imagine I'd have to pay an inflated farang price here.

Thank you kindly.

Well, in the India Regent Hotel shopping mall, there are some shops where they sell luggage rather cheaply. I recently bought a very large, very nice wheeled bag for 1,600 delivered to my hotel. I'm sure that there cheaper ones than that available. Just go to the luggage stores back near the coffee shop on the first floor. Good luck! Incidentally, if they don't have the type of bags you are thinking of, they can refer you to a store that sells them.
