Whoopee! News Channels Are Back!

Featured Replies

Just noticed Channel News Asia, Aljazeera and BBC World News are all back on Rawai Cable analogue. Phew!

Don't have to suffer Fox News any more...

Patong Cable had them all back last week. Kata Cable back a couple of days ago. But my trusty new Android TV box is standing by just in case TV goes down for whatever reason. Broken line etc.

Truevisions had the international news stations back a few days ago.

Even Jonathan Head's BBC broadcasts have been allowed back after the stunt he pulled at the FCCT arranging the press conference for Chaturon to arrested on camera. Time for him to move on before he outstays his welcome.

Daily Mail site still blacklisted.

Wow! Never noticed that before. Horrible green MICT page at 203.113.26.210.

Wow! Never noticed that before. Horrible green MICT page at 203.113.26.210.

Update:

Only some URLs are blocked. This one isn't:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2656728/Angry-villagers-warn-riots-unless-police-act-Roma-Residents-say-law-hands-authorities-not-action-anti-social-behaviour.html

If you browse the site using links at the left of each page, or those at the bottom left under Today's headlines, they may work.

Thanks for your assistance Jetset but even the link you supplied is blocked with http://203.113.26.210/. Is it a TOT thing or are all ISPs blacklisting The Mail?

Looks like 3BB in Phuket (that's what I have) have implemented partial blocking as I can get to the link I just posted and to several links on that page that are on the right side. (I said "left" in my previous post - totally wrong! I meant "right". Doh!)

I recall this being the case during other web site blocking events in the past - some ISPs blocked everything, others blocked only the top level URLs.

I can only think that the guy who enters the URLs to block typed something like : "http://www.dailymail.co.uk" and forgot to add "/*" at the end. biggrin.png

I hope I don't see you coming towards me on the road like someone in a car the other night on the bypass. I think they came out of Siam Niramit & just turned right directly into oncoming traffic.

BTW I would not lose any sleep if I never saw the brown nosing "Head" again & I also watch with disbelief some of the claptrap coming from Samantha on Australian Network.

biggrin.png I suppose Dick (Jonathan?) is thinking about his visa. And I rarely watch the Australia channel because they talk funny. smile.png
