I only would like to get a conclusive answer by the advocates of "Globalization". How is it going to be in Europe/US, when the last job has been exported to China/India etc.?

One reason the US doesn't produce as much steel as it used to is the cost of complying with environmental regulations. China doesn't comply with those regulations and pollutes the same planet we all use.

It is expensive to ship steel from China. The cheapest way to ship something is by rail. They even put semi truck trailers on trains to move them across the country.

China is putting environment controls on steel mills. They have to because the air in Chinese cities is beyond filthy. Increasing wages, interest rates, and a drop in prices is breaking some of the Chinese steel mills.

Everything goes in cycles. Ford is opening or re-opening three auto manufacturing plants in Detroit this year. That's a first in a long time. They can't use crap steel.
