How to get Tor Tor 3 in chiang mai (no money to transfer from overseas)

Featured Replies

Hi

Ive got money in Thailand. I need to buy a condo. I know there are some foreign exchange companies in pattaya that can get you the TT3, now called foreign exchange certificate?. They charge 1% apparently. Is there a company like this in Chiang Mai?

I guess they transfer money out and in to Thailand and give you the certificate.

Why not go to the bank you originally transferred the money to. They can fill out the form now.

To OP

Are you willing to give your money to an unknown company to transfer it out of your bank account and expect them to pay it back to your bank account for a small fee and actually see this money again?

Who will you complain to when you explain that you have been conned/robbed for trying to avoid money laundering rules. Do you also expect a TV member to give advice on how he/she has broken every rule in the book?

Is this a troll post (I hope so)!

You can go to your bank and ask if they will give you the form. They may not know exactly what the document is for, had this happening before that I had to explain them what to fill in. But you need proof of your original transfer in foreign currency and the exchange rate. That has to be filled in the FET, not the THB. Do not mention a date. The bank will give you a copy, ask them to stamp it. Done.
