France will qualify for the last 16 with a win, provided Ecuador do not beat Honduras. Didier Deschamps side is hoping that Yohan Cabaye will have recovered from a groin injury. Cabaye is one of three players, along with Patrice Evra and Paul Pogba who is one booking away from a suspension.

Swiss coach Ottmar Hitzfeld has spoken of his admiration for the French side, who he says, are clear favourites going into this game.

Hitzfeld will be hoping his team can repeat their performance in the opening game against Ecuador.

This game could end up closer than some might think......Switzerland have to win if they are to avoid Argentina in the next round which should see them throw defensive tatics out the window early on and have them playing some attacking football.

If by any remote chance both teams have the same amount of points and goal differnce then Switzerland would head the group.having won 7 qualifying games.

They really need an early goal and then try and hold on as a draw is of no use to them as they seem incappable of scoring any more than 2 goals in a game.
