Atm Limit Of 5.000,-baht With Bank Of Ayadhaya

Featured Replies

Just come back from my local Bank of Ayadhaya branch and there was a sign up that the ATM limit is 5.000,-Baht.

According to them all over the island or even Thailand?

Anybody knows more about this?

Who invented this campaign to keep the tourists away?

Amazing Thailand is always on the TIT.

Sorry dear folks,

turned out that the sign in the bank is merely a request that figures up to 5.000,-Baht should preferably be withdrawn from the ATM rather than make the staff inside the bank work.

The way I asked and the answer I received itsounded there was a limit of 5K, which is not the case.

Siam Comercial Bank machines seem to have a transaction limit of 20,000 baht (if you need more, put the card back in and make another withdrawal) Bangkok Bank machines have a 25,000 baht 'limit' per transaction.

Hi

I've just seen this post, but just to let you know I can take out 100,000 baht a day from same bank with ATM card. Maybe you need to change your card, mine is called 'friend card' for whatever reason??!!
