He was also involved in various credit card frauds and other scams. plus drug dealing too. As far as him having AIDS goes, I suspect that it is wishful thinking on some folks part. It is pretty easy to control it with medication these days. Jealous of what pray tell?, cos he had sex with many Thai girls (very difficult here), because he was an abusive a$$hole that never had protected sex thereby "possibly" (as I don't know his circumstances but odds on he had plenty at one time or another) infecting hundreds or more and I am not just talking about the "big" one. Herpes is nearly as bad, or any STD for that matter. Or is it because he is dead? because from my understanding there ain't too many overly concerned with his passing.
