He abused a position of authority in a way that was not and is not and will not ever be acceptable in any time past or any time future. He is a disgrace to all that he stood for. Probably he is, but obviously has mental problems in the kid department. It is not for us to decide what justice should be decided upon him, let the victims decide. Just because he is old now does not mean he shouldn’t be punished properly. It just means he got away with it for a long time. Cannot talk about “he won’t harm anyone now”. He’s done the harm and the people he hurt are still hurting. Most of the victims, the victim’s mothers, the victim’s fathers and the victims family’s probably want him dead. They were all old queens kiddy fiddlers. I won a pair of football boots in a game on Zig & Zag and proudly holding my prize back stage I was cornered by Zig, about to hit on me when I freaked & ran away as Zag came back stage to curse his old partner, telling to get back to work. Would you tell her to clear off? Of course you wouldnt. You would take what was on offer. He's not going to be doing much at 84, and maybe a million $$ for each of the victims would be in order.The problem with that is that there wouldn't be 4 victims but 400, or 4000!! Savile's resemblance to this recently deceased "Nigel" (the notorious slime-wad of internet porn site fame) . . . . his resemblance was uncanny. Both of these creeps affected their boisterous, gregarious and loquacious personae to beard the seething cauldron of depravity that lay underneath. This idiot Rolf Harris, whose gibberish I never at any point found to be the least bit entertaining on any level whatsoever seemed driven by a similar "masking" routine. I suspect Harris was always fully aware of his disgusting personal proclivities and rose to the challenge of masking them with his moronic song-and-dance routine. This "larger than life" routine appears to have worked out for them because, for the most part the vast majority of our species craves to be a part of such great fun. To challenge this 'great fun' as anything but what it appears to be is to marginalize oneself. And, of course, no one wishes to be excluded. You know eating human flesh is perfectly acceptable in some societies, which demonstrates how far beyond norms acceptable to us do some cultures go.
