Seeking an Ophthamologist in CM...

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I understand that Vision Center near UN Irish Pub is excellent for check ups and glasses, but I need to see a quality ophthalmologist for a current problem. Any experience and advice is most appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Dr Rachada at CM RAM is beyond excellent, the full check including pupil dilation costs about 1,200, 800 baht without..

I have used Saint Peter Eye Hospital, and have no complaints.

I used them once and they were OK. Told me nothing that I didn't know.

They did how ever to my surprise dilate my eyes with drops 4 times. It was a good 6 hours after that before I could read.

Not sure if that was good or bad. Have had them checked at Rajavej. Was happy with the result cost was 1,500 baht for my wife and myself including a bottle of pills for the wife. They gave us each a prescription for glasses which we bought at Vision center. The fellow there said the ones for me were real close but the ones for the wife were off a ways. We are both very happy with are glasses.

We went with the Vision Centers recommendations. But as for the health of the eye we were both OK.

Edit

Sorry I did not get the name of the Doctor. They have several on staff.
