Hospitals make the therapy that brings the most profit

It is not direct Thailand related, but we can imagine if it happens in state hospitals in not corrupt Germany, than the same thing but even worse will happen in Thailand in private paid hospitals.

Point is: They select the therapy with the most profit and prefer surgery instead of other therapies. Which reminds me about the battle against Ultrasonic for destroying kidney stones, because it brings less profit in compare to surgery. (Father of a friend was such a doctor who was upset about the loss about profit).
