Hello

Can anyone recommend a bus service from Bangkok to Krabi? I know they say flying is cheaper or more or less the same price but I'm having trouble finding a flight at time I want to travel. I found a bus timetable and (apparently) a company on the same page which seemed to offer packages but I've just got an email from them saying they don't offer bus services and sent me a list of accommodation in Krabi. So not that helpful really.

Would be interested to hear about any companies anyone can recommend and if you've got any cheap accommodation recommendations as well as places to check out in Krabi.

Stay in Krabi Town if you want to keep costs down....much cheaper than Ao Nang.

I forget the name as it was a while ago and I took the bus from Surat Than I....so not much help there.

Check out the evening food stalls by the river...good and cheap in Krabi Town.

Visit Koh Jum if you can as well....very nice island for a night or two.

Stay in Krabi Town if you want to keep costs down....much cheaper than Ao Nang.

Railay.....go early by boat and avoid getting the last boat back as they tend to try to overcharge.

You can stay there but I wouldn't bother....not really worth the money IMHO.
