Immigration Offices are closed weekends and holidays.

Yes the information is correct as well as the known hundred or so it seems festival days within thailand, just dont close the bars please.

Yes, a rental contract is sufficient. Even a Internet bill on your name is sufficient. At least at the immigration in Jomtien.

It would depend on which immigration office you need to go to and what you need the certificate for.

If for a drivers license here in Ubon the DL office gives you a form to be signed by immigration.

If you cannot go Mon-Fri because of work, then your Work Permit details should cover it.

Yes your rental contract is allowed. But, it really does depend on which immigration office you go to. They are not open on weekends or holidays, and are usually open on week days from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Closed at noon for lunch.

That is what I used, no problems. thumbsup.gif

Checked 7th July and Chiang Rai Immigration are no longer issuing any residence certificates for any purpose whatsoever.
