Taken from another local source, it seems the welcome return of Starbeams Restaurant in Surin is to happen.

We are getting ready to open a new, smaller place in Surin. Seating about 20 or so, this new boutique restaurant will have A/C, fans, parking, music, flat screen TV and no smoking (inside)  and best of all, much the same menu items as before.

We hope to open on 1st August exactly One year to the day of our closing the 'original' venue.

Further details on the new location....

Location is in the soi directly across the klong from the Haikuzo Japanese restaurant, which is next to the Goodview restaurant. Soi Saboran 2. Inside the soi one block down on your left. As the klong road is now one way each side it is easy to find. We are basically on the opposite side of the klong from Lorenzino's and further down. Just past the Mind Kitchen is our soi. (Not the soi right next to the Mind Kitchen, but the next one down.)

The excellent Tex-Mex food is to be reintroduced luckily as its the best that I have ever tasted and a welcome return in eating options within Surin!!!

Great news, Mike's place had what was probably the best farang food menu in Surin before it closed last year.

Great news that Starbeams is opening back up in Surin. With the closing of The Living Room Surin needs another Restaurant with a good range of western food. .
