Firefox 31

Featured Replies

Anyone have anything to report on upgrading to Firefox 31?

Reply from FF 31 on win 8.1 on Lenovo yoga II

Pretty straightforward & no problem with FF31 via windows 7

No problems if you upgrade from version 29 and above. It you upgrade from versions below version 29, you may have issues with the new User Interface. There are ways to deal with them.

Some add ons may not work....for a while.  I wait a month to give the makers of the add ons I use time to upgrade.

Add Ons turn Firefox into a very useful critter.

Most infuriating browser ever.

You get your plug-ins and extensions all  lined up and within a week, there's yet another update that says they're incompatible with latest version.

Totally unusable

Unusable ?   Just updated to 31 and all plug-ins worked fine

A couple of non essential addons are not running, but most are.

when i update firefox 31 some my favorite add-ons can't play.

Works fine but I don't use a lot of add-ons.

Worth re-checking if there are updates available for any of your extensions a few days after the release of a new firefox version.

Extension developers often come out with a compatible version soon after the firefox release.
