Dogs!
We have an English Bulldog across the street -- always penned but when left alone every day, the dog lets loose an existential howl if left alone too long. The neighbors have to listen to the dog, but the owners are spared. In USofA Denver there is as story now of 2 English Bulldog puppies being stolen from a pet store -- valued at $4300 EACH. -
