You might get a better response if you ask the mods to move this to the real estate forum (and you might do a little searching there yourself) ... but having said that, you'll do better still looking at newspaper ads, on line ads and "pounding the pavement" a bit on your own.

Although I'm sure any recommendations you get here will be totally disinterested and have your welfare & comfort at heart, it's always possible someone will (unintentionally) waste your time with a bit of property that they are desperate to unload before the swamp it's built upon reclaims it all.

google ...try it, it's easy.

Really helpful thanks ;)

I have looked around various web sites; bit of a mixed bag, doesn't seem to be a comprehensive list anywhere or map featuring them all.

Also I was looking for experience on buyers of past projects- how was the quality in reality after moving in? Can't get that from sellers side obviously.

Bangkok forum really not helpful at all. Chiang Mai forum would be loads of info already.

Go to SET.or.th  search property developers on there.

ap, sansiri, supalai, eastern star, lumpini, pruksa..... and many more.

Buying off the plan has it s pros and cons. At least with a finished project you can actually see the quality of the building and indeed, how well it is maintained. Some of these developments look spectacular on the plan but......It is amazing what a graphic artist can do. Try out hipflat - it is a pretty good site devoted to BKK properties and has a google map function. Generally speaking the price will reflect the location and quality of the build. There are also some developers that are better than others. Sansiri are generally pretty good. Be careful with the really huge developments. There are obvious pitfalls. eg. The Noble on Ploenchi/Wireless - reported to be building 800 rooms! Good luck.
