I understand the kickoff times are geared toward the host region, but in order to allow for maximum viewership, shouldn't the time be around 5 pm in Deutschland (Is anybody at work, or sober even)? Then East Asia (Japan) would be at a manageable midnight? Going the other way, California would be at 8 a.m or thereabouts, basically putting the Pacific ocean in the middle of the early morning hours at kickoff, sorry to all the islanders. What you think? As if our opinions matter, anyway.

Very true..I thought it was an 8 pm in Thailand which would be perfect for bars and stay at home viewers alike.

It is a kinda sloppy ending to the Cup, but maybe I'm still suffering from the English debacle.

We get replays here, but it just not the same as live.

I agree completely - it's too late.

but then - it's also too late to do anything about it - it won't be changed.

then what else can we do than watch the rest ? Thai TV doesn't replay matches ....
