What visa?

Featured Replies

I have a friend from the UK who will be visiting Thailand for 34 days later this year. The main purpose of his visit is vacation/tourism. He will stay with me for about half the time and also visit various parts of Thailand.

While he is here he wants to visit the offices of two Thai companies that his company does business with. These will be mainly social visits but, no doubt, there will be business discussions and deals done.

Total tourism time 32 days, total business time maybe two days.

Obviously, he does not qualify for visa exemption. So, should he apply for a 60-day Tourist Visa or is it necessary to have a Non Imm B (which does seem to be a much more complicated application).

Advice would be very much appreciated

Just apply for a single entry tourist visa, the company "social" visits will be no problem.  He will get 60 days on entry.  Don't try to make things difficult.

Thanks for the reply.

I agree with you about not making things more difficult than they need to be.
