Wedding celebrant needed for December 2014!

Featured Replies

Hi,

We are planning on getting married in Bangkok in December. We have everything planned and just need a wedding celebrant for the ceremony.

We are looking for a fluent English speaking person. The celebrant would only be speaking for about 10 to 15 minutes so we are looking for someone with a reasonable price.

Thanks!!!!

What kind of wedding do you imagine ?

Is she Thai ?

using the word Celebrant you sound Aussie (ish), in Thailand, who performs the ceremony has no legal power as such or anything to do with legal paper work.

Yes thats right. There's the religious/civil service and the legal side and both are quite distinct.

Hi guys, we don't want a religious or legal ceremony as we are organizing that ourselves. What we are looking for is someone who has experience in public speaking that can say a few words about marriage and then pronounce us man and wife and that's it (10 to 15 min speaking). We would tell them what to say.

This is only symbolic, no religious or legal qualifications required, only someone who is experienced in public speaking. We don't want someone to fumble or say the wrong names or have a thick accent that is hard to understand while speaking.
