Portugal fan found dead in Ratchaburi

Ratchaburi - A Thai man known to be a fan of Portugal football team was found dead apparently of heart failure while watching a match early Thursday.

His mother told police that the man, Jatuporn Wongprasit, 37, might suffer from a heart attack while watching the Portugal-France match late Wednesday night.

The mother, Ramphee Noorod, 61, found the body of her son in front of a TV, which was left open, at 2 pm.

Doctors said he might have died about ten hours earlier, which was the time when the match was played.

Police said there were no traces of fighting on his body.
