Thai Passport office in Pattaya still opened?

Featured Replies

Hi there!

I wondered if the thai passport office in the Avenue shopping mall is still opened or was it temporary ?

Thanks

Still there - they call all out of Bangkok Offices 'temporary'.

I was there a couple of weeks ago to get a passport for my daughter. Arrived around 7.20am and joined a queue. No tickets are given out any more we were told. I guess there were maybe 15 in the queue ahead of us. Around 8am a guy comes out and tells the queue what documentation they will require. Then they open the doors and the queue moves inside slowly, as everyone receives a ticket number and those getting passports have their height measured.

It took us about 45 mins to be seen and we were probably on our way home at around 10-10.30am. They send all the passports by post and ours took around 10 days to arrive I think. All in all, very painless and a rather efficient service.
