Mr. Costas I think you miss those goat kebabs and gyros.

Greek lesson No 1.

You don't make kebabs and gyros with goats meat.

First lesson free, next one I will charge you.

Maybe Thais don't like them because they walk around calling everyone crazy all the time

Because they send Aussie tourists into a sexual frenzy..

Where have you been Mr sustento?

Totally ignored my cows and now you are accusing these innocent Australians for sexual perversions.

Go back to sleep on the floor.

Why dont they keep sheep in Thailand?

They do, but they're all disguised as wolves.

Pork?

He will be 'milking' that next week!

.

Fear that the sheep would make men out of ladyboys.

Also, fear of competition with bar girls.

what a very good ideawhistling.gif

if you open a bar and provide few sheep, with all the weird people in pattaya, that for sure you will kill the lady boy businesstongue.pngtongue.pngtongue.png

Because they keep calling the Thai people crazy....baa...baa.....

Thai sheep don't say "baa baa", they say "gaeh gaeh".

There was a guy who lived a few km from me who had a herd of maybe 50 to 60. I would seen him moving them late in the afternoon when out riding the bike. This was about 60 km south of Phichit.

Probably because all the kiwis keep trying to shag 'em...

Nah mate...wouldn't steal from the Welsh or the Dundeeans.

most thais ive met in the west say they dont like lamb

I heard that NZ their national security level from baa to BAA.

Why don’t they keep sheep in Thailand?

Too many farang.

As they say in the US "Montana*, where the men are men and the sheep are nervous."

*substitute with any prairie land state

It is because a long time ago in Thailand a boy scout was walking through the Jungle, he came across a clearing, In the clearing there was a Thai man hung across a sheep giving it one, The clever boy scout shouted, Are you shearing MR. the Thai man shouted back" NO GET YOUR OWN."xhuh.png.pagespeed.ic.6VcCaNwNXg.png

when the Thai man was arrested for having sex with a sheep, the judge bar bar bound him over to be on good behavior towards sheep.

And I thought the lack of sheep was down to the scarcity of wellington boots!

Don't sheep live better in cooler climates?

You try wearing a wool sweater in this heat:)

Sheep (by the thousands) are farmed in some of the hottest places on earth.

Sad to say that MissFarmGirl hates the smell and taste of Lamb.

A beef steak with sautéed mushrooms and I'm in for a week ... w00t.gif

But Lamb ... bah.gif

I'll just have to educate the boys myself on that one.

.

My lady tried it once on my insistence.

Verdict: Never again! It smells manure! Kind of 'cultural' thing.

Fair enough... I hate many Thai dishes (not all).

There's herds of goats around us but I've never seen it for sale in the market. My wife say that You can buy a whole dressed goat from the farmer. I image that it's like the local beef, all bones and grizzle and what meat that you get is a tough as shoe leather.

When I look out of my window I can see a large place called. Pattaya Sheep Farm. I doubt they keep cows overthere.

So it has a walking street in the middle for all the Kiwi's ?????

‘Shaun’ the sheep could be the world’s woolliest

Australian farmers Peter and Netty Hazell may have found the world’s woolliest sheep, estimated to be carrying more than 20kg of wool. The sheep, named Shaun, was found wandering north of Hobart.

I expect its something to do with the rainy season . Big problems with the feet . Also shearing could be a problem . Tried training anybody to shear sheep . Its a bloody hard job

A few years ago I was driving by Global House in Roi-et and grazing along the highway, were about 15 sheep, I never saw them again, but I seldom go to Roi-et these days.

There is a Thai family near Kantharalak who are building up a nice flock of sheep and goats although goats make up most of his flock. The sheep are the breed that look more like goats and are common in the middle east. He's been known to sell some of his sheep and goats recently but has a very limited number of animals for sale.

The gf and I bought a rack of NZ lamb ribs from Makro a few months back..... Thought for sure she would hate it, but she absolutely loved it. Wished she didn't despise Mexican food so much. sad.png
