We are looking for a house a bit outside of central bangkok. Basically a small na-jomtien outside of bangkok with traditional street food vendors, a safe village, low crime and rental rates should not exceed 50k/month for a 2-3br house.

But we also don't want to be too far away. We have a car but i wouldn't want to live 2 hours away from Siam. Any suggestions? Ari, Phayayothin, On nut?

Anyone? Basically just a safe village a bit outside from central but not too far out.. so big malls should be reachable within an hour or less. MRT / BTS isn't a requirement.
