Me and the wife are going back to Thailand in Sept 06

We are looking to rent a car to use in the Sakon Nakhon - Nakon Phanom area for approx 1 month

My wife is a Thai National & she will be renting the car prior to our arrival

Are we better renting from Don Muang Airport at a recognized rental like Avis or Hertz etc or is the

Location we are staying the best idea for servicing, repairs, Breakdowns etc..

We are looking for a family sized saloon Honda, Toyota etc..

budget have an office opposite the air port and will have to you upon arrival, you can book over the internet.

and when you depart they will pick it up from out side the departure lounge.

and you will have peace of mind of having the back up of a multinational company with all the correct insurances,

if you are contemplating driving yourself make sure you have an international driving licence, otherwise the boys in brown especially in bkk will have you for 1000bht a time.
