Thai extanded FF milage deadline

Went to Thai office in Silom this morning to issue an award ticket using my FF, I casually asked the staff

what will be the new FF mileage needed for the same trip and was told that it's still the same

and that Thai has extended the deadline of 1st Sep. to indefinitely, and there I was about to book a ticket

for the next 4 months wanting to use the current point's value before the change,

has any one heard about it anywhere? was the extension advertised by Thai or any body

else for that matter?
