PATTAYA – August 31, 2014 [Pattaya Daily News]; at 00.10 am Pol.Capt.Netithorn Rattanasuchanan-deputy investigation inspector- had led a team of police officers and volunteer police to crack down on lady boy gangs who prostituted around Walking Street, South Pattaya and Pattaya beach.

Who has robbed tourists of more money over the years, jet skis mafia or these ladies? I am all for cleaning up beach road but, need to get rid of everybody and not target any "group." Anyways Id much rather look at a "beautiful"ladyboy than those fat old ugly women that sit on their a.s.s.e.s painting their faces with makeup all day long.

200 baht fine.... Hahaha ! Why bother ?

They need to make the fine 5,000 baht and a night in jail for first offense. Second offense 10,000 baht and a month in jail.

the irony is that they can probably earn more or the same in prison than on the street

there should be separate prison for lady boys

RE Ladyboy prison: Funny enough, I remember they were considering this some time ago. Sorry no link.

Very correct. As long as they continue imposing punishment that is of no consequence, the crime gangs continue. They have no reason to stop. They can see that the "authorities" have no power, nor any real intention to stop them. A lack of deterrent is a good reason to commit crime. So, if they are serious about stopping any of this, show us. Stop jawboning. Just show us some real action. Otherwise, all you are doing is alot of nothing. Real men act. Others just talk.
