Thailand unveils new visa rules, sparks mixed reactions
How is it racist for each country to have their own rules? You really think the UK's rules aren't based on an understanding of what Thais do once they have a visa? -

Will Trump piviot?
In a word...NO. He can't trade in Mr Vance as that would be a massive admission of failure...he's stuck with him. He has no new attack lines that land.....his only plus is that there cannot be anymore skeletons in the closet. He is doomed, bar a monumental cockup or revelation related to Harris or Walz...... -

Move Forward Party dissolved, leaders banned for 10 years - video
Kleptocracy (from Greek κλέπτης kléptēs, "thief", or κλέπτω kléptō, "I steal", and -κρατία -kratía from κράτος krátos, "power, rule"), also referred to as thievocracy, is a government whose corrupt leaders (kleptocrats) use political power to expropriate the wealth of the people and land they govern, typically by embezzling or misappropriating government funds at the expense of the wider population. One feature of political-based socioeconomic thievery is that there is often no public announcement explaining or apologizing for misappropriations, nor any legal charges or punishment levied against the offenders That about sums it up. -

I'm confused, USA is now a communist country?
Strike that last word and replace it with dictatorship. If the basis of communism is truly, "To each according to his needs, from each according to his abilities" then it would be an ideal system but it was never actually practiced, it was always dictatorships from the word go, it is wrong to criticize a system that has never been put into practice. I am not a Christian but the religion is often vilified these days but again it is a religion that has never been practiced by a whole society, the USA is not a Christian society despite all the hypocritical assertions and in Europe it has died out as a mass religion. Unfettered capitalism is a horror show as can be seen from the past in Victorian England or the late 1800's in America, only social democracy with controlled capitalism, a parliament, trade unions and a free press can control the worst excesses of the human psyche and even that isn't perfect, there is always someone or group willing to take advantage of the weak links in the system which exist in order not to slide down the slope to dictatorship. There is a lack of true spirituality within mankind which has the propensity to stamp on the weakest and take what they can.- 1
