Import-export e-licences to debut by end of year

The Ministry of Commerce plans to launch an e-system for applications for import-export licences by the end of the year, deputy minister for commerce Dr Pwint Hsan said.

“Entrepreneurs will be able to apply for import-export licences via the Internet instead of have to go to Yangon or Nay Pyi Taw,” Pwint Hsan told the second annual meeting of the Myanmar Garment Entrepreneurs Association on September 7.
