Sago palm

Hoping for some help here - I know climate isn't ideal for growing this type of tree up here but does anyone know of anyone selling the stuff -

Or a reliable way of getting up here?

What ,do you mean Sago ?,they sell it in RimPing,and lots of other places

i would imagine, Thais use it as a dessert, just like the frogs eggs,as we used

to call it of the British school dinners fame.

It is not really a palm, it is a cycad and available here. Try the plant market behind Tesco on the Super Highway. Plant it in well drained soil, elevated location with a lot of coarse sand added to the dirt and it will do okay.
