I have friends staying in other LPN developments but they have never heard of such a thing.

if indeed is a scam, please stay clear away from this group

All about profit, ask them where the maintenance payments are going, ask to look at the books. Is management transparent or is it all hidden? Where does the fee for the usage of the gym go? Has it been approved by the association? Thais won't question anything, up to you.
