Hi

I've got a condo in Cha-am for the last few years but communication from committee and management has been awful, to say the least.

Mostly it's their lack of interest but also all the email addresses and postal addresses are way out of date.

We have an AGM soon and I want to suggest using an online email distribution list.

One where all owners can maintain their own contact details.

Then when management or committee want to communicate with co-owners they always have the most up-to-date contact details.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks in advance

I hear ya.... I've got that covered. But now I need some technical solution. I've done the usual googling but was hoping someone had a recommendation.

Thanks for suggestions. I'll check them out. But looking for something that will maintain email and postal addresses. Some docs must be posted. We've tried Facebook, Line and Addresstalk.com for better communication but they didn't work....

I know email is old school but it's still the best way to communicate more officially. But need the addresses kept up to date.

This solution requires that you maintain the email contacts in a GMail account. Otherwise, I think it does what you want it to do -- Your Contacts Can Update your Google Address Book.

EDIT: Just realized looking at the screenshots on the how-to page that the email address field may not be editable.

Thanks. It could work nice to keep info up to date once I get all emails correct. I can edit the script to add email2, email3 etc.

But to start off really need an online site or Web form that owners can update themselves. Mailchimp looks like a good option.

Thanks for all suggestions.

How do the co- owners pay their cam fees if you don't have the correct email addresses. Surely the office must have an updated list.

Some don't pay and blame it on not receiving invoice.

It's the excuse used for many things.... Oh, I never received that etc
