phuketsub
ThaiVisa has its own translation service. Not sure if it meets your requirements, but you can learn about it here: http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/729407-thaivisacom-launches-online-translation-service/
cornishcarlos
yes..... expensive as i just found out quoted 4000baht for 6 pages .... does that sound ridiculous ? My wife charges 300/page. Can't remember off hand her criteria but it obviously depends on font size, number of words per etc. She also varies the price depending on content after she was asked to translate something that was written in 'old' English, as that took some time. So for a commercial operation to be charging 600 + baht per page doesn't seem too excessive, just depends on what you asked to translate.
Valentine
Hey mate I think you should seriously consider them for legal documents. I had my NZ marriage papers (married to Thai in NZ) done by them & stamped by the relevant Thai govt. agency which was acceptable to the local authorities here. GiantFan
yes..... expensive as i just found out quoted 4000baht for 6 pages .... does that sound ridiculous ? Paid 500 per page several years ago. It was worth it! They stamped it as well, versus a friend who can do it for less. Not a strict guarantee, but looks more official. jpeg
A Court will not accept anything less than a certified (stamped) translation. How important is this document to you?
cdmtdm
the document in fact is not deemed legal, so the accuracy is not crucial ... looks like we will do it ourselves ... thx for all the tips ..
