I am looking to download some of the rarer opensource free and legal videos on the internet.

Does anyone have any invites available for any of the following sites?

Torrentleech

Broadcastthe.net

hdbits

If you do then please message me.

I can exchange for a torrentday invite if you like.

Not so urgent since I have found an alternative version of sickbeard with lots more providers (google it if you understand and are interested in this topic).

But still wouldn't say know if anyone has any of the above, and I do have invites for torrentday if anyone is in need.

I'm currently running the now unsupported version of sickbeard tpb edition that matched epg to torrent files. Still working, but for how long?

If you find something that doesn't require a subscription to usenet I would appreciate if you mark an X on the sidewalk so I can take a look at it. Or send up a flare, or a balloon.

No smoke signals ...the signal to noise ratio here is pitiful.

Never really used usenet but my understanding is that you wont get anything worth using with it for free.

Not all that expensive but with free alternatives have never seen the point.

The sickbeard fork I am on now is https://github.com/VeNoMouS/Sick-Beard

Certainly doesn't need a subscription to usenet with the variety of free and open torrent trackers, plus a few more closed trackers including the one I have membership to.

Not sure if TD is working or not though, hasn't picked up anything from there yet, but since it is finding all it needs no problems.

I can't believe that a week ago I was still searching for things manually every couple of days!

Had the plans to build something like this many years ago but never got round to it, very pleased someone saved me the effort and I have found sickbeard.

Combined with a new NAS (that has spent 2+ weeks transferring data back and forth trying to get set up) and an XBMC-Pi my dumb tv has gone and obtained a masters degree!
