Xbox one in Thailand

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I was planning on bringing my UK bought xbox one to Thailand in November. Does xbox live work ok in Thailand ? Do games downloaded from the xbox live store work ok? Can I still buy and download games from the xbox live store ?

Sorry for all the questions

Thanks

Dan

Hey sorry I am a bit late to answer you ...xbox 360 worked ok but it would not let some games download...xbox 1 is... as i have read it to be "region free" so i am hoping that when i bring mine over in January ...with all the updates and games it can hold....that the games will download properly

It took me a week to download halo 4 for my son before i left in october...a hard duty 1TB drive may be a good idea to bring stuff over...has to be usb3 i think ...so its seen as a gaming drive and not a storage brick

Anyone ? Guess theres not a lot of xbox one owners on here lol

Not that many anywhere it seems:

In Thailand, the word "Playstation" is used to refer to gaming consoles in general (just as Xerox is the generic term for all photocopiers in the USA). So, no real surprise the PS4 is the dominant machine here.
