Why do so many men come to Thailand with so much money ? In my travels I only ever draw money immediately necessary from an ATM at the airport. Generally I never draw more than bt3000 , not too much to lose . Perhaps one shouldn't entertain a bargirl in one's hotel , better to go to a short time hotel .

i have an errr emmm errr long time " friend " whos staying at a 5 star hotel in chiang mai with an american " friend " at the mo and shes left her id and bank debit cards medical card etc with me until she goes back to sukhothai in about a week

so not all hotels ask for girls id cards to be left coz she hasnt got any on her !

I got to this story late and i know its been done to death ,but my God 56 you havin a laugh , i look younger than him (i really do) and i,me late 60's as for her come to Pattaya see lovely looking girls who are terrific looking and pick grandma . by the way ,love the way he is dressed ,quality tourist.

Judging by the look of him , he was lucky to find a bargirl who would go with him at all .

She should have demmanded a substantial deposit up front . I have never been with a bar girl , but I think pay as you go , each day as an escort .

Many male travellers have no dress sense at all , they come to Thailand and dress as if they're on a jungle expedition among the monkeys .
