Jatuporn denies planning red-shirt get-together at Khao Yai

BANGKOK: -- Jatuporn Promphan, the chairman of the United Front of Democracy against Dictatorship, Thursday denied that a get-together of red shirts was planned at the Bonanza Resort in Khao Yai, Nakhon Ratchasima, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary on Sunday.

He said the schedule of the celebration was a hoax, spread by his opponents.

I hope no one is complaining. Seems there have been plenty of chances to keep him off the streets and out of trouble and harms way.

Last time I checked he was excused from facing charges because he had the sniffles and couldn't come to the proceedings. The judges were fine with that and that was the end of that, case dismissed he doesn't feel good today.

Respect where it is due. Although charged with terrorism, Jatuporn was placed at #8 on the PTP 2011 party list, as a reward (along with a few million baht recently acquired) in an attempt to pervert the course of justice.

Now that his co-accused no longer have the parliamentary immunity he missed out on, I await hopefully his imminent trial, conviction and incarceration. Prison authorities might consider selling tickets to see him behind bars, I'm sure they would be popular.
