Sky Team and One World aircrafts in a fender bender at JFK Airport New York

NEW YORK: -- Sky Team and One World seemed to have a confrontation today at JFK Airport in New York. Two commercial airliners with passengers on board, one aircraft belonging to One World member Royal Jordanian Airlines a jet belonging to Sky Team member Delta Airlines came into contact with each other. They slightly collided around 7pm Eastern Time on the tarmac.

The wing section of one is believed to have struck the tail of the other. Both planes taxied back to the gate under their own power.

No injuries were reported. One passenger described it as a "fender bender".
