At last... a comfortable plane ride!

In 2008 (seems it had been around for awhile), Singapore Airlines introduced their Suites Class, the most luxurious class of flying that is commercially available.

The Suites were exclusive to their flagship Airbus A380, and they go beyond flat beds by offering enclosed private cabins with sliding doors that cocoon you in your own little lap of luxury. The interior was designed by French luxury yacht designer Jean-Jacques Coste and comes along with a plush soft leather armchair hand-stitched by the Italian master craftsmen Poltrona Frau. Perhaps most well-known of all, Singapore Airlines became the first and only commercial airline with a double bed in the sky.

But guess the question is, will Sing air let you join the mile high club in said suites ?

yes that could be one way to go

Of course for "gay lips" or "Jspill " sure they would prefer a steward or the cabin boy

I notice that there is a rating form for the coffee served which includes the category "body"

Is that for the coffee, or the flight attendant?

If I could indulge the patience of the Gods here.

I rarely, if ever enjoy a black coffee.

Previously, I preferred a bland white coffee, but recently discovered that a coffee colour that has a little bit of milk in it is smooth ... just perfect.

Maybe a 'Skinny Chino' is the perfect blend ... with just a little cream on top, a whisky on the side.

Ah, but it's just a dream to me ... I could never afford to what is written about in the OP.

Good luck to those who can ... then I can have an inspiration to strive for.

Not Thailand related.

Moved to travel forum.

Taoism: shit happens

Wouldn't Qantas be better for that?

I guess the real question is why spend $23,000 to sit/sleep in a box when for $3500-$4000 (business class to US) you get a lay flat seat (sleep most of the time so what difference does it make for the extra cost to have privacy)...

OH well ...each to his own!whistling.gif

Earlier this year I was lucky enough to fly Emirates Suites after I was given a complimentary upgrade from business class. Personally I prefer business class in the A380 as I felt like I was locked in a cupboard. It's very private but also very boring and I prefer the more open feel. Having said that I wouldn't knock another free upgrade back as the food and service is pretty good.

My last flight was last month with Thai in economy class in row 60 where I had plenty of time if not space to contemplate better days. However my wallet was a lot fuller when I landed.

If I keep getting fatter, I'll have no choice but first class extra wide seats.

Also further to walk to the bar!
