Parallels Desktop 9 on OS X Yosemite

Im running Parallels Desktop 9 on my MacBook Pro. I haven't updated my MacBook to the latest OS X Yosemite yet because I'm afraid it might affect my parallels.

Is there anyone here using parallels too and have upgraded their MacBook pros to Yosemite?

Not parallels, but I use Virtualbox, and the latest version seems to run just fine on Yosemite.

Just make sure your time machine is up to date, and then try it out...

Not sure what waiting 2 more weeks will accomplish on its own. Very odd.

As tominbkk mentioned, "Just make sure your time machine is up to date, and then try it out...". You can then always roll back.

Otherwise, seek out the larger apple-based forums with live topics discussing MBP, Yosemite and DP9 ...see what they're saying.
