I am told the compressor of the Daikin outdoor unit should be replaced. New comppressor would cost 18,000 THB.

What do you advice: should I get it repaired of by a new unit. This one is about 15 years old.

I just paid 10,000bht for a new compressor for a Carrier/Daikin. 18,000 sounds expensive.

dont repair that is no garauntee it will last 6months.never mind 15yr.

In Ubon try Wattana Air. They sell, fix and regularly maintain air cons. Have a fleet of 25 small trucks.

My air cons are nearly 20 years old. No problems.
