Repair airconcitioner or buy new one in UBON

I am told the compressor of the Daikin outdoor unit should be replaced. New comppressor would cost 18,000 THB.

What do you advice: should I get it repaired of by a new unit. This one is about 15 years old.

Suggestions where to buy a new one? Should be a place that installs the aircon as well. (Not necessarily Daikin)

15 years old? Buy a new one. The amount of power you will save will astound you.

I just paid 10,000bht for a new compressor for a Carrier/Daikin. 18,000 sounds expensive.

daikin 18,000btu. around 28,000bht.brand new.

dont repair that is no garauntee it will last 6months.never mind 15yr.

In Ubon try Wattana Air. They sell, fix and regularly maintain air cons. Have a fleet of 25 small trucks.

My air cons are nearly 20 years old. No problems.
