Replica Football Shirt Shop, Chang Puak Area

Featured Replies

Had very helpful advice on here a few months ago about the replica football shirt shop near Chang Puak, heading out of town towards super highway. Used it once, very good and reasonable prices.

Went again today, but no sign of the place, memory fading with age, cant remember exactly which shophouse it was, but it sure wasnt open today, does anyone happen to know if it still exists, or has moved, or perhaps unfortunately may have closed down?

Interesting fact. Bought my young nephew in UK a replica Barcelona set, shirt and shorts, good quality, 400 baht. If you try to buy the same at the night bazaar these days, the starting price for poorer quality is around 1000 baht, and of course when you politely point out that its a copy, they deny it and get pretty agressive with you!

Might have been hit by the crackdown on fake goods.

Might have been hit by the crackdown on fake goods.

If that was the case, virtually the whole of the night bazaar would be closed down by now, or does protection money override trading standards!!??

Put simply YES.

It also overrides vehicle licensing, drivers licenses, drug trafficking, alcohol sales hours, gambling, "massage" shops, DVDs, CDs, Computer games, Burmese, any intellectual property .......generally protection money overrides any subject matter that contains a vowel.

If you know anyone doing a border run they have them at Taichek, also some of the predominately Thai markets (back of Big C on a Friday night), or even the flea market at Princes. They will have a few on display but someone will take off with a motorcycle and get what you want no problems as have done this a few times..

Not sure where you get the 1,000B price from. Head back to the Night Bazaar and you can get a replica set for 400 no probs.

Shouldnt the topic be 'counterfeit' as opposed to 'replica'???

You must be a harder bargainer than me! Last time I went there they started at 1000 and the lowest I could get them down to was 800.....thats why I went eventually to the shop near Chang Puak where the price was 400 ! But thanks for the tip, will give the night bazaar one more go.....good excuse for a pint at the Red Lion !!

No worries at all. I know the Night Bazaar very well. If you get stuck with a crazy price PM me and i'll get ya sorted.

They do have a shop at the back of the rincome market but it is a bit of hit and miss when it is open .
