You're like Holland's Hans Brinker putting his finger in the dike, trying to stop it from being breached and flooding the Netherlands. Except there are 300 holes in the dike (of officials' cover-up, frame-up, shielding of headman's people). It's good you're spooked by the issue of furniture being in the video. It shows you're seriously worried that bit of evidence will finally blow the cover off of Nomsod's flimsy and amateurish alibi.

Jdinasia should also be spooked about the planted evidence trail (such as Hanna's phone, etc), because those items are also as flimsy as wet toilet paper, and can be dashed to smithereens by any court with a modicum of objectivity.

I've recently had a look at CSI's Facebook page and it is nothing like what I was expecting. I do lurk on some conspiracy and "truthers" websites occasionally just to constantly re-confirm to myself how full of sh!t they are and to maintain a handle on what is real and what is way out there, and CSI is not a conspiracy theorist in the normal sense. He doesn't seem to state any theory, it is just a presentation of news and asking questions more like an investigative journalist. I didn't once see him accuse anyone of anything or state anything as fact or even post a theory, he is just posting news of things that are happening in Thailand and asking questions about things which appear to be wrong, in fact only about half of the things on his site are actually about Koh Tao the rest of it is daily news about corruption and deaths all over Thailand.

I was very surprised to see his style and more surprised that his questions and news have got people like jdinasia so worried and het up that she/he has to constantly deride CSI is every other post. It's very telling when someone vehemently and constantly tries to silence and discredit anybody who is talking about something that doesn't fit in with their theory, it is a classic conspiracy theorist tactic and usually only works when there are more people on your side joining in with the discrediting, but because there are so few conspiracy theorists on this site like jdinasia then all he/she is really doing is publicising CSI to people who are likely to find his info helpful.

I take it as confirmation that CSI is doing something right seeing as he has the truth deniers so worried and upset about his Facebook page.

I didn't see him present any theory, there are no accusations on his Facebook wall that I saw and I looked back over his wall. Like I said, all it is is him posting the news of things that appear to be lies and corruption in the news every day, something which I strongly believe this country doesn't have and would benefit from, something which you don't want for some reason. You would rather everything was hidden from the public and they just believe the 3rd most corrupt police force in the world, you would prefer that everyone didn't know about these many strange deaths every day or the news that they wouldn't hear about otherwise because there are no investigative journalist in this country.

From what I understand this was an invitation to a reception at a country club to celebrate the Kings Birthday and the National Day of Thailand and I imagine other people from the Thai community were also invited. I really don't understand why they would want to thank him when not long ago they were trying to have his face page shut down.

I'm not up for a popularity contest...just facts. At times I believe a lot get's lost in translation. Steve may be thinking they might thank him for his rotary work. IDK. There are some interesting discussions going on there...most I do not understand as I don't read Thai. However, I have found over time that the fellow running it seems to be becoming a legend in his own mind. Don't you think it is more likely that the Thai consulate in LA invited CSI LA to their party because he is a local Thai businessman, who has probably been on their cocktail party list for some time? He is a former chairman of the Monterey Park Rotary chapter and only started the FB page recently. I doubt that they will use the opportunity for attitude adjustment. The consulate staff probably hate the Thai police as much as the average Thai citizen does anyway and many many be secret CSI LA fans.
